Yulin holds a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and has been working in the engineering field for the past 15 years. He has worked in many roles in the engineering sector from project engineer, installation & commissioning engineer, project manager, commercial manager etc. In his latest role as a commercial manager, he prepared pricing for projects and negotiated and finalised project contracts. The projects he has been involved in range from tens of thousands to millions and billions of dollars.
Yulin has always been passionate about business. He has been working on business analysis and investment for publicly owned companies such as A2 Milk, Kogan, Tesla, Amazon, Alibaba and Afterpay etc. He also helped his partner purchase a business and successfully increased revenue from 500K to $1 million within one year of taking over.
He came from a business family and his parents run several successful businesses ranging from supermarkets, restaurants, lighting and furniture businesses etc. He was educated with business ideas from a very young age.
