Tom is based in Far North Queensland and lives on the northern beaches of Cairns. He has had more than 20 years of experience in the Hospitality industry from Management positions to owner Operator in Hotels , Motels and Management Rights in South Australia and Queensland.
Tom began working in hospitality in his wife’s family-owned hotel, they ran a hotel in Cairns and then returned to South Australia where they purchased a Motel which they operated for some years. An opportunity came along in 2014 to return to the far North and they have lived and worked on the northern beaches since.
Tom has been a very active participant in all sports and particularly enjoys golf , is a keen follower of the AFL and also enjoys basketball. Watching and participating in sport has been a huge interest throughout his life.
An approachable and easy going man, Tom likes mixing with people and getting to know the area. His understanding of business and how it operates has proven an asset in all areas of his employment. Tom likes to assist people when and where he can and is always keen for a chat. His local knowledge is extensive and he has made very useful contacts during his working life in the Far North and southern parts of Australia.
