Ian started out as a Mechanical Engineer building production scale food factories for household name brands in Australia, Asia and the USA.

After ten years in Engineering and Project Management he started his first venture building machinery for food production.  This blossomed into a successful joint venture with one of the top tech US firms in the industry and resulted in a successful exit for the founders.

These early successes were followed by a series of senior management roles including high growth ventures in software development, specialized computer hardware, high speed production and robotics. 

Since selling his own food production business in 2007, Ian has served as a Management Consultant to private Boards becoming licensed as a Business Broker in 2009.  He has transacted a wide range of businesses in IT, engineering, mining, construction, transport and logistics.  Many of these business sales have involved multiple sources of funding with complex handover agreements.

He recently joined LINK to offer his wide-ranging experience to Clients wanting to move to the next stage of their business adventure.

Ian is a hands-on problem solver with a flair for finding innovative solutions during the sale process.  His practical approach is focused on keeping all stakeholders focused on the end-goal of completing the sale and achieving a win for all involved.  He will attend to the details and ensure you get the best result for your business sale project.
